We are looking for a Data & Analytics – Business Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team in Vietnam. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs, data, and technology to optimize global trade compliance operations and data management. You will play a pivotal role in helping the team with data management issues related to the integration of business processes. In this role, you will have a major impact on strategic and tactical initiatives.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Requirements Gathering & Solution Scoping: Partner closely with GTS business stakeholders to understand operational pain points and data integrity issues, document business requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for data and analytics solutions.
- Analytics & Data Support: Collaborate with the IS&T / Analytics team to design, test, and deliver impactful reports, KPI tracking tools, and Power BI dashboards.
- Process Optimization & Automation: Analyze complex business processes and data flows to identify inefficiencies, data quality gaps, and opportunities for automation within global trade compliance workflows.
- Data Integrity & Governance: Perform deep-dive data analysis to extract critical insights, troubleshoot data anomalies, and support operations teams in maintaining high data integrity across systems.
- Change Management & User Adoption: Work with transformation teams to align business adjustments, assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), and deliver training/documentation to ensure successful adoption of new analytics tools.
What you will bring:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 1 – 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or BI Analyst, preferably supporting Global Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing operations.
Skills:
- Technical Aptitude: Strong proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent), and familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Snowflake) is an asset.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to propose practical optimization solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to put yourself in the shoes of business users and build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Autonomy & Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively toward objectives in a global matrix organization with minimal supervision.
Languages: Vietnamese & English (proficient); Knowledge of French, or Spanish is an asset.
