QUALITY REPAIR TECHNICIAN (ENGINE)

Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and validating engines and related components affected by quality issues. This role supports containment activities, repair campaigns, root cause investigations, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and validate engines and components according to technical specifications.
- Perform rework and containment activities for non-conforming engines and parts.
- Identify affected serial numbers, engines, and production batches and ensure proper traceability.
- Record defects, repair results, and non-conforming quantities in the system.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions with Quality and Engineering teams.
- Perform engine testing, validation activities, and support special technical analyses.
- Coordinate repair campaigns, recalls, replacements, and quality improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and work instructions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and repair efficiency.
What you will bring:
Education: Technical Diploma, College Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in engine assembly, engine repair, manufacturing, service, or quality-related functions.
- Experience with engine troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair activities.
- Familiarity with quality tools and problem-solving methodologies is an advantage.
- Experience working with technical drawings, repair manuals, and assembly specifications.
- ERP/SAP knowledge is considered a plus.
